I don't regret for one single moment that we gave up our dining room so that I could have a space of my own to work, craft, and hang out. It's close to the spaces in the house where the kids hang out most so I can keep on an eye on them. It's not a 'man's cave', it's a 'Megan's cave'. All mine! I painted the stripes on the curtains and rug. I covered the bar stools. I used Mod Podge with paper to create the artwork flanking the large window. It was fun creating the space exactly how I wanted.
