Chocolate Easter Table , The inspiration came from the faux bunnies found at Joann's and the cream bowls from TJ Maxx. The rest are all items I had, I just stuck with the green, brown and cream color theme and tried to alternate the colors with the plates.

St.Patrick's Day Tablescape, I used Bordallo cabbage bowls and dinner plates and the clover salad plates that I found last year at the Christmas Tree shop. The little arrangements at each place setting are also from The Christmas Tree Shop. . The green cabbage glasses from The Cracker Barrel and the silverware I bought recently at Target they were $0.69 - $1.29 a piece on clearance.

Pink Valentines Day Tablescape, My Valentines Day Table with pink Bordallo plates and bowls collected over the last couple years. $2 cream salad plates from the Christmas Tree Shop, cream silverware, $0.64 -$1.29 a piece at Target, placemats from Marshalls and for the centerpiece I shopped in my home. Christmas Tablescape in Red and Gold, It all started with the brass candelabra I won on ebay for $10. The red glass plates, little brass elf shoe candleholders, the glasses, the napkins and gold glitter ornaments are all finds from the Christmastree shop.

Christmas Tablescape: A lil' rustic & a lil' whimsy, Another Grocery store find was this church. At the Dollar store I found some grape wine wreath that had this greenery attached. I just used the greenery and saved the grape wine wreaths for another project. The Napkins were 70% off at Kohl's and the silverware is 'Winterberry'. The 'place cards' are actually just from a Christmas Post-it pad and I used pine cones to hold them.

Christmas Sage, Silver and Crystal Tablescape, The silver angel came from Marshall's and the trees I found at 60% off at Hobby Lobby. The crystal nutcracker candlesticks are from the Christmastree shop. I used footed crystal candle plates as salad plates and crystal bowls, both also from the Christmastree shop at only a couple of dollars a piece.The little crystal salt cellars are from a local consignment shop - I got 6 of them for $3.

Christmas Cream and Gold Tablescape, The cream tealight holders are from the Christmastree shop and where only $1.69. The gold glass plates also came from this store. The mini stockings I found at the Cracker Barrel and the gold tree shaped candles followed me home from Marshalls. I used beaded glass chargers and bowls I bought at Wegmans grocery store and I used a Mikasa Italian Countryside saucer.

transitional/Contemporary/minimalist kitchen makeover(before & after), cookie cutter track home got a major overhaul from floor to ceiling. Kitchen is on the small side and the short cabinets made the room feel even smaller. original yellow oak cabinets ,white tile countertops and recessed fluorescent lights from early 2000. Lacked personality and style and very ugly to say the least.

50's Cozy Cottage Kitchen, Our kitchen space is cute, but old. The cabinets have been repainted many times. The floor is uneven because of multiple layers of linoleum. The appliances need replacing. Something is leaking between the fridge and dishwasher and we don't know which so we keep a towel underneath the fridge to soak up the water coming from somewhere. The bar/pantry is so deep, things get lost and you never see them again. The bar really isn't a bar it's a "catch-all" and we need more space!! , Kitchens Design

He fought me on the white cabinets wanting a rustic feel and I wanted some contrast from the dark hardwood floors and pine ceiling. I'm so happy with the end result, and so is he. Total Transformation, The kitchen prior to renovations was a Galley kitchen with a pass through to the formal dining room on one side and then had a breakfast nook on the other side. There was a wall between the breakfast nook and an indoor patio.

I decided to knockdown the wall between the breakfast nook and the indoor patio and then close up the pass through to the formal dining room. I then transformed the formal living room into an office and placed my dining room furniture where the breakfast nook used to be. The kitchen has a huge bar that you can sit at so there is no need for a breakfast nook anymore.

This created a giant living/dining/kitchen area. , Kitchens Design

Tile backsplash #2, aaahhhh, I was SO SO happy with how this backsplash turned out! I really contemplated how to do it and had a hard time finding something I thought would look good. The granite is a little wild so I wanted something that would blend nicely. I used the same 2" tiles I used at my daughters house (see backsplash #1) but turned them on a diagonal. WOW what a difference! Plus this was very inexpensive tile. Only $2.97 for a 12x12 in sheet! Used the "Simple mat tile adhesive" again. Love this stuff., Kitchens Design
