The counter tops are constructed from MDF and then coated with a concrete overlay, stained and sealed. They provide a contemporary look for a fraction of the cost of real concrete tops. The glass tile really makes the kitchen pop especially when the under cabinet lighting is on. stainless steel appliances and chrome light fixtures provide the perfect contemporary kitchen that we were looking for.
