First, no ragging about galley kitchens. They're efficient, charming & don't take forever and a day to clean. We have a 90 year old stone colonial, & aside from the low-grade appliances, the kitchen hadn't been updated in about 35 years, so our work was cut out for us. Six weeks and many microwaved meals later, it's finished & we couldn't love it more! If you're in the greater Philadelphia area, our fabulous contractor was www.savvabuilders.com
