I moved to this house about a year ago. As you see, the floors are porcelin. The tiles are designed in a way that the grout in between is too deep and dark. We just had someone came and cleaned it but they said that the grout color is dark originally and its hard to fill it in because of the chipped edges of the tiles. Im thinking about installing hardwood floors but im afraid my kitchen wil look too dark. What do you think? what bothers me the most that it looks too busy by the entryway and the hallway. Also, if we install hardwood floors, I think that the color has to match the dark color that we have in the living and dining rooms.
If tile is my only choice, does it look that bad in the pictures? I need advice please.
