I used to have the pinkish 90s laminate with seams showing and couldn't stand it so I used Rustoleum Countertop paint in a brownish color. It was a flat paint, showed every paint line and after a year, was scratched and scuffed beyond belief. I figured it can't look any worse so why not do a faux granite! I used craft store paints in metalic hues. I then coated a thick coat of gloss. I hope these stand up to the test of time!
