My home was built in 1986 and it showed in the kitchen! Drab oak cabinets and tile countertops. Yuck! My father-in-law added a few boards to the top of the cabinets and recycled the crown molding. A few gallons of paint, new hardware, new granite countertops and it is a showplace!
