After years of wanting to relocate to the Florida Keys, I ended up with a nice but not the beachy home I had invisioned. This home was the victim of a big remodel better suited to a penthouse in New York. The cabinets are dark reddish mahogany wood, stailess steel appliances and stone floors. The wall color has now been changed to a light blue/seafoam colorwhich opens up the space and reflects more light. My husband does not want to paint the cabinets. How can I make this kitchen less formal and better suited to its surroundings.
