This is how we bought the house. The dark red walls make the small space feel dark and well small. It has gorgeous handmade light wood countertops with dated light wood cabinets. I love the little garden window over the sink! The nook the fridge is in was added to the house to give it a space for the fridge. There is a baby gate between the fridge and stove that blocks off the stairs leading to the basement. Safe for our baby! The kitchen is open-ish to the dining room.
