Charming Kitchen Needs Updating!!, We just bought this house and move in about a month. We need to buy a few new appliances but seem to be having a big debate on what color (I want white he wants black). Any suggestions?? Also we want to change the knobs on the cabinets and add a backsplash. Any suggestions there? Thanks!!, Kitchens Design
Our first kitchen redo!, This was our first kitchen remodel! We did all the work ourselves and nothing was hired out! This floor was vinyl tile so we replaced it with travertine with no pattern just stone like and the cabinets were a orange color and countertops were yellow... from the fifties. We then restained cabinets need countertops stainless backsplash and added the island with the stainless top! We still have a few things we need to do touches on..but for the most part it is finished... tell waht you think!, Kitchens Design
Nuuanu Kitchen, As you can see in the "before" photo the kitchen was closed in and dark. We took off some of the cabinets moved the wall back and dropped down the counter. Needless to say we added new lighting. The lanai overlooks Nuuanu Valley and a Japanese Pagoda in the background. The image on the wall is of Japanese Koi and it's a canvas print. , Kitchens Design
Kitchen remodel, original Kitchen was galley style we removed a wall and added a island Budget was kept under 20K with no labor costs. We created a space with the things we love without taking away from the comteporary style. Appliances (not the stove) will eventually be switched out with stainless as the current ones are not much older than the remodel itself., Kitchens Design
