Need input on kitchen redo, Kitchen before we moved in. We're going to put in granite counter tops backsplash and new lighting but my husband and I disagree on the ledge in the front of the picture. I think the ledge needs to be extended out more. My husband thinks it needs to be removed and just have the counter top extend out more. I want an area for stools which I can do either way but my sink is on the other side of the ledge and I'm not sure I like the idea of having everything so visible. Comments?, Kitchens Design
Post and Beam kitchen in the works, This is a work in progress. I have a Viking 6-burner/griddle cooktop that is the best feature in the kitchen. The other appliances are stainless Jenn-Air. Custom built pine cabinets...still needing some finish work. The countertops and floors are still plywood. I am undecided on both. I have granite tiles that I could use for the countertop but they are black/gray. Not the warm feeling I want. Any comments and suggestions for floor or countertops?, Kitchens Design
Created from three rooms, Kitchen and dining space created from 3 rooms. All walls were torn down and one large living space created. This was updated from a 1970's kitchen. Now we can enjoy our wonderful views from all rooms., Kitchens Design
