Genesis of a Tuscan Kitchen, First of all I apologize for the darkness of these pics. This is a kitchen that receives little natural light. This galley style kitchen was remodeled almost entirely by my husband and myself. It is part of 55 year old ranch-style home and was in serious need of work. We put in a new wood laminate floor ("distressed oak") all new stainless appliances a tin ceiling and backsplashes new cabinetry and new countertops. , Kitchens Design
Cape Cod Kitchen, From start to finish this took my husband myself and his friends 5 weeks. We completely gutted the old kitchen. My husband and friends did all of the labor and I did all of the decorating. It came out exactly as we envisioned it. , Kitchens Design

Remodeled Kitchen, My wife and I bought a 1968 split foyer home.We totally gutted the room (except the ceiling which is not finished in this photo) and removed the wall separating the kitchen from the dining area. I put galvanized steel roofing on the walls for a magnetic surface. I poured the concrete counter tops.We installed a cork floor and maple cabinets.All of the work was done by my wife and I.
