Submarine Kitchen!, Tiny Rocky Mountain studio condo is only 448 sq ft. I put alot of amenities and homey-ness into that space... prompting a remark of: "You should pack SUBMARINES for a living!" I updated our 80's laminate cabinets w/ ACE "Classic Oak" paint. (See before pic.) (Bar had carpeting! up the front. Kitchen had flourescents that I changed & added a dimmer switch.) eBay tin tiles are cooktop backsplash. I dry-brush watercolored the onions & garlic. New cookie jar too!! , Kitchens Design
Help my kitchen, My kitchen is the builder's design and boring. I want to update it but don't have much budget paint curtains etc. Our house is mostly contemporary although the table and chairs are a bit traditional. HELP I need ideas!!!, Kitchens Design
IS MY CEILING CHOICE OKAY?? , Our kitchen is undergoing a complete renovation. Done mostly by my sweet hubby. I'm worried that the ceiling gives the room a nautical look! It is knotty pine v-grooved planking that is stained white but can still see the wood grain. It will run through to the connected dining room too. I'm thinking of running a couple white beams to break it up. We live in an 100 yr. old farm house. The cabinets are hickory w/spice stain. My style is Pottery Barn w/ country twist. Please help me!!, Kitchens Design
New Kitchen, **New note** Our Table and chairs were bought at a store in our home town called Chintz and Co. Though I'm sure I've seen something similar in the Pottery barn catalog. The counter tops are just ordinary laminate. In a few years we have plans to upgrade those to something else. Thanks again for all of your feedback! , Kitchens Design
