dark, non functioning room for a disabled child to use. He loves to bake and cook and he has no access to it from his wheelchair
Hi everyone - We're closing on a home in June (Yeay! and the kitchen isn't totally "awful" per se, but its not great. We don't have the funds for a total redo but I definitely want to do something to make it better. But how??
We were going to paint cabinets a dark cherry color and take down the wall between kitchen and dining room. I can't replace the counter top so I thought a brown and green theme but have to happen. Should I create an island in the middle or pushed against the wall?
This is my "granite" island top, did it myself. Getting ready to do all of the counters on the new cabinets. I will show step by step progress.

This kitchen is 9X9, little storage closet, (enough for us two few cabinets and a stove
