1957 slab home with the typical box living room was remodeled by bumping out front wall to include porch area, The 50's aluminum single pane windows gave way to glass block. Ceiling was ripped out and rebuilt with a deep tray. Inset was treated with venitian plaster and crown mold, as were the walls. The wood wall was created with 700 hand cut, sanded and individually finished exotic hardwood blocks, lending the warm wood tones in the room. Custon flat screen cabinet was built into wall and hidden by bifold metal art doors. Furnishings were selected with the 1950's lounge chic/asian/eclectic theme. This home is an "in progress" remodel, and as we do all construction and design, we have found great pleasure and satisfaction!
