This room was dubbed "the library" that turned into an old-fashioned clubby drinking-cigar-smoking-having-a-quiet-conversation-by-the-fire sitting room. It is rather small 10x11 and is perfect for 4. I wanted it to look like it's been there forever although our house is new construction. It has become my favorite of all spaces. I think my soul is OLD.

I actually even looks like it was decorated by a cigar-smoking man. The one change I would make would be to lower the art on your walls. When you're snugly sitting in a room of this sort the lowered art makes it even snugly-er - if there were such a word. Don't worry if lamps and such layer in front of the art. That would be a good thing.

WE BOUGHT THIS HOUSE WITH LAND IN THE COUNTRY 1.5 YRS AGO.THE FIRST EASTER WE WERE HERE I GOT ME AN EASTER CHICK.PURPLE THIS TIME.THE FIRST ROO ROO WAS BLUE.WE HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE TO PUT UP A FENCE.MEANWHILE ROO GREW UP.I HAD HIM IN BIRD DIAPERS UNTIL HE OUTGREW THE ONES FOR MCCAWS.BUT BY THAT TIME HE WAS TRAINED[PAPER-TRAINED].YESIT'S POSSIBLE AND FOR BIRDS ALSO.
