totally agree with blondepegasus, pieces of furniture and not agreeing at all.

I LOVE the gray accent wall! It gives an industrial feel to the space and almost seems like a band of steel. It does seem like the space itself is very contemporary and in some ways you have embraced that but in others you have gone in a very traditional, old fashioned direction with furnishings and accessories. The piece over the tv appears to be very country in nature, the living room furniture seems very traditional, the swag window treatments are dated, the counter stools and dining set are contemporary. For me, the mixture is not working very well. You need to pick a style and stick with it. I would go in a contemporary direction if it was me to match the architecture of the space. I'd hang floor to ceiling drapery panels, update the furniture pieces as able to more sleek, modern lines, and remove the dried swag from over the fireplace. I don't really think anything has to go there. You have created a loft feel with the architecture, now need to furnish it like a loft.
