Soft blue rug, white couch cover, and paint bookcase white. Add flowers & candles. Will look great! Even a touch of blue on one wall would take away so much of neutral and bring out your colors more. I love coral & spa blue colors together! Just needs a little bit more work to bring it all together.

I think you are on your way to achieving a successful room...but here are some things to consider. First, cut back on the chevron. They work great on the cane back chairs, but reconsider the couch pillows. Find something with texture instead of pattern. Next everything is a bit heavy as is. You need to integrate some reflective surfaces to offset all the hard ones. Simple fix: paint the tray on your coffee table a different color that works with your current scheme...i.e. yellow. Get a mirror cut that is 1 or 2" smaller than the top of the coffee table and put it on top. Add something of interest with height on the coffee table (easy idea, flowers in an porcelain vase. Add colorful books stacked on the bottom shelf of the coffee table for visual stimulation. Your side tables should also be beefed up. They are too small for the couch. This will allow you to have larger lamps..ie clear glass based ones with linen shades. Paint the art frame gold for more shine.

I like the color combination you have in here. I probably would not have thought of it myself, but it really works. I really like the world map, too, as art. I saw that in another RMS posting as well where they used one in their dining room. Great job!
