Very dark! I'd suggest changing up your rug and pillows to something brighter - perhaps creams with a pop of another colour in them. Maybe a throw over the back of the couch. Your mantle needs some shweet accessories - why not some mismatched items that are all the same colour? Can you tell I'm all about colour???

My only other comment is it seems that your furniture is very overrsized for such a small space.

You might want to try putting the tv above the fireplace with the speakers on either side of the fireplace. Can you use less furniture or maybe extend the livingroom into the other room--seems like there is a computer desk in that other room. I love wood trim but maybe as a last resort you may want to paint it a lighter shade.
