Our formal living room is directly off of our small foyer. This room gets tons of morning light streaming-in. We love our annual trips to Tennessee, so this room reflects all of loved photographs of the Tennessee mountains and waterfalls and lush scenery. I love the color green, and this Ralph Lauren green color on the accent wall is moody and woodsy and I love it. I wanted to counter it with a super saturated bluey-green. I love the two married together, and threw-in some vibrant apple-green too. : The huge rattan trunk holds a ton of 'stuff'. The old armoir in the corner holds an ancient tv, and I hate looking at electronics, so I'm not parting with it just yet (this room is very collected and done on a super budget. The all wood-rustic shelving unit I picked up in a consignment store for a SONG! I LOVE IT! So rustic and sturdy. I have some of my beloved collected antiques on it, along with some greenery for a natural element. The round 'stamp' table is a project my dad made years ago, and I just love it. If you think I need an area rug, I would not disagree. However, husband flat-out won't go for it. LOL
