If first impressions count, the entrance hall deserves a special attention. In our new home, it went from a builder's white to a warm golden glow. The staircase and the floors remained the same ... but dressed up with new trim moldings, new paint on the walls, new chandeliers and sconces, and custom drapery panels framing the entrance door. The rectangular boxed trim has wallpaper inserts depicting flowering branches with little blue birds - bringing outside in - the wallpaper is somewhat reminiscent of Japanese screens. The goal was to create a warm & inviting, and a little "different" atmosphere.
