See how we transformed a bland, white family room into a warm oasis that has come alive. I have posted the before photo, and then the after picture to the right. Yes, this is the same room!

The back wall accent color is Cinnamon Stick by Glidden, The fireplace color is Molasses by Behr.

ecrystal3076..... I had to laugh when you said you weren't sure about the window coverings.....that is the only part of the room I don't like either. I put those curtains up temporarily until I find the right ones. Thanks for confirming...LOL

MeMe1962.....I know the chocolate on the fireplace is called Molassess and I believe it's from Lowes. The color on the back wall is kind of a brick/rusty red. I'll have to search for the exact name.

Living Room, In my 1930's home, I've tried hard to integrate my modern taste with some of the traditional elements, such as the moldings and archways. In my living room, I used a sort of greige-ish hue to accent my red couch and chair. My coffee table is from my grandmother's farmhouse - freshened up with a coat of glossy black paint on the base.
