Hi, my couches are also chocolate brown. You have an eligant style, and your choice of sofa pillows is sweet. Your art is high though. It distracts because you have to look up away from the sofa to catch the art. I once saw some mirrored sconses that would look wonderful on your wall. They are hard to find, but yours are nice too, just a little dark. I think that you are off to a great start, the room is very comfy looking.

I can see you have a real feel for decorating.Your color combunations are great-very homey and chic. Someone mentioned lowering the wall art. I heard once that the middle of a picture looks best when its about 60 inches from the floor. I can't tell if you have 2 couches or a couch and a love seat. If it's the latter could you put the l.s. on the wall under the big picture and get another table and lamp for the other side of it? My only suggestion to all your rooms, and this is personal , is to add some greenery or some floral sticks in a vase. They would add more warth and fill in some of the blanks.

Very soothing and relaxing color tones. Lowering the pic above the sofa would be the only change I would make. Love the coffee table!
