super cool room!

You have some neat items! I agree with Melrose that a bit of tweaking would only improve on what's already good. Personally, I would center the sofa on the wall and center the large abstract over it with only 6-8 inches between bottom of art and top of sofa back. It's visually unbalanced this way how it's smooshed right up to the door trim when it doesn't have to be. Pull the chair out of the corner {since there won't be room for it anyway once you center the sofa} and position it in front of the window and angled slightly more towards the sofa than it is now. Get a longer and more substantial rod for the drapes. This one is sagging because it's too short. Rearrange some of your art pieces. You'll need to find a new place for the long orange one and I think the word art deserves more of a place of honor than crammed into the corner. Just a few easy, free adjustments would make this good room better!

Cool! I would never in a million years put these things together and yet it's all very chic! Looks comfortable and interesting. 5 stars.

Congrats on all the hard work you've done putting this space together. I'm wondering if you might like to consider a few tweaks to bolster the look. First, I would suggest lowering the abstract painting over the sofa just a bit. Next, the orange chessman really would look better with its partner, elsewhere. There's just a bit too much stuff in this corner, especially for mid century modern. For that reason, I would also suggest removing the street name board and replacing it with the dark wall sculpture currently next to it. All those changes would be free. A small expense would be a bracing bracket on the wall at the middle of the curtain rod, to keep it from sagging in the middle.
