Hi everyone, this is my room. I did make new curtain panels, I'm looking for advice on a new area rug. So now I'm crying inside, because this is all I can do. With the new rug, I'm done. I can't mess with this room any more. I really wanted that new furniture in white from Ballard Designs, but there is no guarantee that it will look any better in this blasÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ© living area. Hope someone has a good idea on a rug for this space to hopefully tie everything in better. Thanks for looking.

New White Paint, This area is finished for a while. I toyed with the idea of all white and cream furnishings, and whole new style. Since I have two grandkids, and one possible in the works, I've decided that chocolate brown feels more forgiving and less stressful to live with. Hand made curtain panels, The $10,000 white and ivory room I love, is put on hold for now, more important projects are taking priority, such as finishing the granite in the kitchen..yea.

I've been looking for panels for the living/dining room area for 7 years. Went to Joann fabrics and found this coordinating line, and went with my favorite for the panels. Coordinating fabrics are being made into pillows and table runners. I canât wait until the panels are hemmed and installed. Should I use a simple hem? I run sheers on the rod running under the top rod.

Starting over with the windows, I had some light brown panels up in the living area, and the area seemed to plain and dim. Now I'm in the market for something with a pattern. Everything else in the room is solid. I took the rug and used it in my office because the pattern was to bold for the living space decor. I'm almost starting over at this point. Living Room, In my 1930's home, I've tried hard to integrate my modern taste with some of the traditional elements, such as the moldings and archways. In my living room, I used a sort of greige-ish hue to accent my red couch and chair. My coffee table is from my grandmother's farmhouse - freshened up with a coat of glossy black paint on the base.
