Thank you for your comments-
It took a while for me- personally and professionally- to stop worrying about 'lookin' good and just do it- what ever your passion is- go for it- this field is largely trial and error... when I look back at past things I did in design (mostly for myself I think- ' wow that was pretty awful...but it wasn't at the time- and it all adds up experience... You can only get better in design by studying good design and by doing, and doing and doing... Not that I've 'Arrrived' by any means... but I do have a confidence about me these days because I know - largely from my mistakes and the mistakes of others- what works- what looks good, what preforms- etc.
I will take the time to look at your stuff.

Thanks Babe on a Budget... What is so great about design is there is no, one right answer- it's interesting to see how my tastes have refined and pared down over time... sometimes I look a mags and think to myself...'I don't really care for that', then I read what the designer has to say about the space and learn more of the setting, client, and the circumstances and totally get what they did... Good design makes you feel uncomfortable at first- it pushes your boundaries.
This is why people hire designers- they help extend the comfort zone. Thanks so much for your encouraging comments- it really is a team approach- I have a great staff and we all love what we get to do. All the best to you- Cindy

Thank you Cindy. I found your pics by accident today and I thank God that I did. We have something in-common besides design. I was in a BAD marriage for a long time. Although I've been divorce for some time now, I still feel unworthy of any success or to grow my business. Visual design is my passion. My personal belief is if you live in a beautiful space-you will have beautiful thoughts-and that leads to beautiful actions. Thank you for sharing...it means alot. P.S. Cindy, I am a new comer to RMS. I don't know how I stumbled across your work but I am so very glad that I did! Your rooms are inspirational and they make me think in a decor mindset differently than I might typically. Your are fresh and modern but not predictable. I REALLY like your work. I read enough of the comment string to see that some might struggle with your success...you are doing what so many of us dream to do and I applaud you loudly for stepping out there. Your words on your post are also inspirational and I really very much appreciate your staying on the high road. Angry and ugly words speak more about the speaker than the spoken to. Who we are shows in what we say and do. Your rooms ARE Lovely! They reflect your talent and that of your team, and there also shines in these rooms some of the light in you. Lovely woman keep doing what you do! Beautiful spaces make for happiness in the homes of your clients! What a gift!!!

I am sitting here going through my favorites and I had to stop and once again admire this room! It's even more beautiful than the first time I looked at it!

STUNNING!!! What I admire and appreciate most about this space is that it's not predictable. This could have gone in so many directions (dark heavy furniture etc. but it is refreshingly light and is most pleasing to my eye. I feel joy in this space and am envious of the owner! I would give this 10 stars if I could. My favorite of all favorites. Thanks for posting!
