I think that sherwin williams has a paint color called latte that would look great.

Personally, I would paint it just a bit darker. It does seem a bit off. I think it needs a little bit of khaki color in there to contrast the walls from your sofa, but maybe not quite as much as your wood floors. One other unsolicited comment - your framed photos need to be lowered. The bottoms of the frames only should be about 10-12 inches above your sofa so that when you are standing looking at the photos, you are looking straight at the photo.

I see a bit of blue that should balance out the yellow tones if you emphasize it. Try removing the floral pillows & adding more blue ones. More blue accessories are needed too. I think you should replace the industrial looking rug & white plastic looking coffee table. Shop for great rugs at homedecorators.com. Even some of their indoor/outdoor ones are quite stylish and reasonable. Lower your photos to 8-10" above the sofa. Consider matting them to match the window treatment color plus blue for the under-matte. Soften your windows with floor to ceiling drapes on a beefy decorative rod all the way across the wall outside the alcove. They can stack back on each side, leaving your window and view totally open as they are now. If you just want panels that stay open, Country Curtains has two you might like "Yorkshire" in Mist and "Medallion Print" in Spa. Order free fabric samples from them to see. Closeable ones would be custom & the spa color can be ordered custom. So, don't paint yet!
