I wanted my home to look and feel more like a vacation rather than a bachelor pad. So I renovated it! The walls are covered with Avocado to bring a warm, happy feel to the area. The two rooms are separated by an overpass which is highlighted with pure white. This allows the rooms to carry their own distinction while still being able to flow freely together.
Because the space is small, the perfect sized pieces were chosen to allow the area to feel large and airy. The floor is actually the concrete foundation; customized with a triple layer faux paint job.
Hope you enjoy!
We built our house 2 years ago and I was having a very hard time choosing colors. We would paint a wall and look at it for a while. I think we got it right. I'm still adding pictures, moving pictures, and slowly decorating the tops of my kitchen cabinets. Any suggestions are appreciated.
