HELP NEEDED within old TV cubby, This is the cubby hole in our new home's living room and it is currently a nesting ground for all of our children's toys. The cubby use to house one of those large big screen TV's that sat on the floor and is therefore the same size as one of those old TV's- 47 1/2 inches long by 59 inches high.

Some of the issues that we have are that it is home to a bunch of necessary cables that operate our current TV (which is housed in another cubby above this one), surround sound and lighting. Therefore boxing it in completely isn't an option. Please help me find a solution to this cubby space that is both child friendly and not overly expensive!, Living Rooms Design
