A young family recently moved into this charming 1920s house. They wished turn their new living room into a cozy seating area ideal for entertaining. Using the existing rug as a starting off point, the room now has plenty of seating, a stand-up bar, and a sofa table that pulls off double duty as a serving area. Just in time for the holidays!
After several years, it was time to update my great room. My inspiration was a beautiful room done by Joanna on Fixer Upper. I found her chandelier, painted some Hobby Lobby sconces, and moved some things around. It's a work in progress, but here is where we are so far.
He wanted it to be classy and Masculine! We used all of his current furniture and added custom pillows to add comfort! We used Garden Stools to add a pop of color and additional seating!

This is our temporary home in Okinawa, Japan! We aren't allowed to paint or change any lighting fixtures but we tried our best to make it our home away from home! My husband built the coffee table and the black entryway table, and we made the pelmet boxes for the sliding glass doors!
