Depends on what your budget is and what you want to keep. If this was my place I'd get rid of all the little accessories and get larger ones and large art for the walls. That makes a greater impact than lots of little pieces.

I'd also paint the walls either a light warm green or tan. I like one bright color in a room, either in the accessories, art, or ottoman. For example, my favorite color is red. Since I don't want such a strong color to overwhelm the room, I've chosen to put that color in a throw, a large frame, and accessories.

I'm not a fan of sectionals, and would prefer one couch and two or three upholstered chairs. That gives you more design options and allows you to move furniture around when you want a change.

Look at the shapes in your room. You have mainly square and rectangle. Mix it up with some round shapes for visual beauty! Please post pics when done.
