Love the room, but yes, I would get just one throw pillow to add to one side with a pattern to pick up colors in the rug, but beautiful overall. If you can find a little narrow table, I would put one on the other side of the sofa to balance more with just one accessory on it, - tall candlestick, etc.

from this picture the sofa seems to be in a large foyer.

I just love your home .This sofa is beautiful, but I do like the pillows with the patterns on them they just seem to make your sofa and that beautiful area rug pop!!!

Oh, one more comment. I disagree w/the richer rug only because like I said I have the chocolate leather sofa and slate tables you have. I have the richer rug (yellows brown red - I should show pics just for you ... and I wish I had your rug. Problem with the richer rug is the whole room seems heavier - and while I like warm rich colors - adding some cream in there seems to freshen and lighten it up a bit. Plus ... it ties somewhat w/the fireplace which looks odd when it's the only light thing in the room ...

I LOVE your house. I have the same colors ... in fact ... I have a similar leather sofa and "slate" tables. 5 stars from me ! ... but honestly ... I just looked at your other pics and I really liked the pattern pillows - though these are beautiful too ... I just liked the contrast w/the sofa and liked how they tied in w/the rug.

I love the architecture of your room. If budget allows, a richer colored rug would look great.

I love your room, the furniture and the fireplace and of course the entry. The only thing I would change is the position of the couch. I rated a 5 and the score went down. I really do not understand this system.
