I designed this space for my first child, William Matthew. I knew as soon as we found out our baby was a boy that I wanted to do his nursery in a safari theme, but I still wanted it to look "baby-ish" and not like a grown man's study. Since we live in an older home with smaller rooms, I used wide, vertical stripes to give the illusion of a taller ceiling. However, I did not carry the stripes from floor to ceiling as this would have overwhelmed the space.
