Chloe, I'm not your taditional "pastel" color user for a baby's room. I wanted to keep the walls muted and use accessories to add vibrant reds, greens, blacks, and whites. I created "what looks like" a "framed" tripdych on the wall and also blocked letters to spell out Chloe. I also made my own nightstands using sturdy baskets upside down! Huge savings! Gray, pink and yellow nursery , My daughter's DIY nursery.

The wall color is Stonington Gray from Benjamin Moore. I made the bird artwork above the crib and my mother-in-law made the crib skirt and the window valance. I decorated the letters spelling out Lena's name using plain white letters from Hobby Lobby and scrapbook paper, mod podge, ribbon and other embellishments.

The dresser was an ugly green dresser that we found at a garage sale for $30. I painted it and changed the knobs. We made the bookshelves out of gutters. The bird mobile was a gift from my mom and is from Etsy.

Raised in a Barn, Welcome to Jackson's Nursery! A little cowboy in the making! My favorite feature of this room, is the Silo I made out of corrugated metal, which doubles as a night light. It is so cool to walk in his room at night and see his name glowing. Nothing in his room goes without a story and that was my whole basis for this design. , Nurseries Design
