When we found out we were expecting, we knew we wanted to give our baby an unusual and interesting nursery. Since we weren't finding out the gender, we had to really try to come up with a good gender neutral theme. We hit upon Dr. Seuss, but wanted to tone it down a bit from some other versions we saw people do online. My husband painted all the characters using a projector and tracing them. Yertle took the longest, but Sam I Am and the use of actual gloves to "hold" the shelves up was one of the more out of the box ideas we had. We hope our daughter will enjoy the space well into her childhood so we can mark her hight on her very own Truffula tree!
