Our small mantel got a big makeover! The depth of the mantel was increased to allow enough room for decor items. The woodwork was continued to the ceiling, which really gives the mantel/fireplace a bigger impact in the room. Lastly, we chose the white mother of pearl tiles to add texture and some shine. My husband and I are quite pleased with how it turned out.
