2 years ago we replaced our pool. Last year we built the deck and added the patio to the gazebo. That gave us somewhere to put the picnic table. The back patio was always there and we wanted to tie in the patio and the deck. We built the shorter deck so it would not block the view and make it easy for people to be on the deck and interact with people in the pool.I have a plastic storage benck in the gazebo for the kids toys. This makes it easy for them to get out there pool toys and put them away.
