These are photos of the front porch of my Victorian home built in 1882. My favorite space in the house.

This space started out as a grave yard as my husband affectionately named it. The previous owners mounded up some dirt and planted a lemon tree on the top. In a way it resembled a grave with the lemon tree planted on top of it's final resting place. We hired a local metalsmith to build this beautiful structure and hired a landscape company to build the fountain and lay the stone floor and install the landscape lighting. We love to sit out and enjoy the gas firepit and enjoy the trickling of the water feature. My upstairs office is over the sitting area and I love to open my window to hear the drip of the water. We designed the water feature to block off the front of the area to prevent people from walking through and also to add visual interest and soothing water sound to the space.
We think it turned out fantastic!
