This is my backyard in Colorado Springs. The ground here is hard as a rock and I often had to use a jack hammer to break it up! And then it only turns to clay once wet. But over a 6 year period I've managed to add a pond and stream; plant trees and lots of flowers and even learned how to set posts so I could build a pergola and gazebo! Thanks to the help of the how-to guides on HGTV!

We are in Alaska so I wanted something like bright and warm feeling. Our budget was tiny so accessorized with real seashells, real rocks, and homemade candles.
We are expecting our baby boy the first week of June. When we started to design LiamÂÂs nursery we decided we didn't want anything to babyish, so the theme we chose was modes of transportation and we picked up a blue/beige palette with touches of red.
My favorite pieces are the hanging air balloons and the rug. The bedding is from babysupermall.com, custom hanging wall letters from The alphabet boutique, wall clock from Amazon (the last one, sorry, organizer from Target and the super comfortable glider and changing table from Babies R US.
We can noÂÂt wait to meet our baby and show him the space we decorated with so much love. I hope you like it as much as we do.
