So you're renting, and the bathrooms aren't quite the same size as what you use to have? Lack of storage space? Lack of wall space? Just lack of space - period? Here's a few small changes I made to one of our now small bathrooms. In our FL townhome before, we had 2 and a 1/2 bathrooms, offering both space + storage. Now we've gone to two, probably equally the size of our master bathroom before. A small space transformation like this can be done in a day. It's simple enough for a rental, or even a home staging if you need to sell. If you're looking for a simple weekend project for your home, this would be a great project to do, plus maybe add stencil or stripes to the walls for extra wow. Converted an unused bedroom into an home office. I infused this room with lots of bright, soft colours. The patterns, textures and colours used in this room help to create an energetic and unique feminine feel.

I used to have striped wallpaper that I loved but it was old so I stripped it and painted stripes on it. I re-did the floor by laying plank vinyl tile over the nasty old linoleum my dog tore up. I love it!

I do love this bedroom, because we moved from a place that was half the size of the apt we are living now we are still adding things to it. Our landlord is VERY strict, that's why I couldn't even put up some nice curtains, I had to put some sheers on a tension rod so I wouldn't damage anything, he does not accept anything on the walls except thumb tacks or very small nails but I still like this bedroom, there's one thing I still want to change, it's the tv stand. I have never liked this thing but it works for now, later when we have more budget for this room I will replace this stand. Do you think it needs anything else? Give me ideas. Remember, I cannot paint walls or mount anything really. Thanks for looking. Oh, I love diy-ing so if you have any DIY idea I would love to read it.

this bathroom used to look like a jungle--literally covered in leaf-print wallpaper. with help from a laser level, it's now my favourite place in the house.
