Paper Shade Lamp Room (formerly room with awesome fireplace), My living room in my current apartment. Inspired by modern/chic decor. I decorated it myself. My inspiration comes from stores such as West Elm, Target, and Crate & Barrel., Living Rooms Design
Romantic and Peaceful Master Bedroom , My intent was to create a peaceful and romantic space for my husband and I. For photographs I used only pictures of him and I (left out our beautiful baby boy who's pictures have taken over the rest of the house) and used decor items from our wedding such as our champagne classes, wedding book, wedding pictures, and my cherished Jimmy choo wedding shoes.I also wanted the space to feel peaceful so I decided on monochromatic and relaxing colors. We are happy with the result, it feels romantic and peaceful! Thank you for taking the time to look at our room! Also I just started a blog at peacefulhomedecor.blogsopt.com I just started it so its sparse but I would love some visitors! :)

Retro Modern Bachelor Pad on a Budget - Part 3: Nooks & Crannies, Hello, Here are a few pictures of some small areas throughout my home where I wanted to add some decor rather than leaving the space empty. I mix retro, modern, and traditional throughout. Many of my furnishings are from thrift stores. It's my way of recycling and trying to live green. The Norman Cherner chair was only $6!! The oil painting in the reflection in the mirror was also from a thrift store. The small hall chest is from Target. The vintage 1960 slat bench is weathered, but still useful. Cost $7., Living Rooms Design
