We recently moved to Georgia and I grew up in the country in Ohio. Grandma and my mom have a clothes line. So growing up with one I love the smell of fresh bed sheets and blankets after hanging on the line all day. So I asked my husband to put one up and this is his own design. We love the Caribbean and this is his bamboo inspired cloths line. He is amazing with building and designing! We have many projects that need done! Our back yard is 1/2 an acre or more with nothing in it. Our plan is an in ground pool and a tiki hut.
New stamped concrete patio, pergola, and landscaping. Concrete by Action Concrete, Landscaping by JT Landscaping, and Pergola by me.
My husband built the pergola for me so that we would have a wonderful place to sit and swing.

We have a wooded lot that ba kes up to a golf course. I always wanted to landscape the yard but, with so many large trees I could never get anything to grow except for some lilly of the valley and hostas. Additionally, we had an issue of teenagers cutting thru our yard to get to the neighborhood park. During their treck they would trample some of our hostas just as they were emerging in the spring. So I asked my husband to remove a few large trees and create a path and planting islands. To top it off, I wanted a gate at the side of the yard that would make fhe backyard mode private and hopefully make fhe teenagers think twice about cutting thru the yard.
I hope you like the results.
This used to be a nightmare to mow...so we just added a few stepping stones and some mulch and now we have a little sitting area to enjoy a tranquil little water fountain or enjoy a fire on a chilly night.

Over the course of a few weeks we transformed the backyard of our rowhome in Philadelphia, PA into an Urban Oasis. We created two levels, built a retaining wall and patio, and installed a gas firepit and some outdoor speakers. Some flowers and a patio set completed our backyard makeover. The best part - we did 100% of everything ourselves from the digging and electrical work to laying the pavers and completed the entire project for under $500 by utilizing Craigslist for everything except for the patio pavers (which were on clearance at Lowes!)
