Western Saloon, Basement bedroom converted into a fancy Western Saloon with a Dining area., Other Spaces Design
Tanner's Big Sister Bedroom, With a Brother soon to be here my granddaughter wanted a big sister room. Damask, stripes, polka dots & rhinestones were the inspiration for this bedroom. I painted two shades of pink stripes on the wall one color satin finish and the other in a gloss finish. I created a scalloped border around the room with a circular sponge and filled the space in with polka dots. I used fabric patterns of black& white stripes, Black & white damask and black &white polka dots to create all the curtains and to add accents to the damask comforter. I created window cornices for the double window and one for a beautiful background for her bed. I created a vanity out of an end table with an adorable mini chandelier to accent the area. I also created a matching doll bed for her dolls which was the perfect finish for an Amazing Big Sister Bedroom., Girls' Rooms Design
Pinkalicious Baby Girl Nursery, My new little business, Lara Mark Designs, took off with my debut of a sweet baby girl's nursery. With different shades of pinks, lots of flowers, polka dots, stripes and extra special touches, a very special baby girl was welcomed into this world...and she's gonna love her room! , Nurseries Design
Relaxing, casual kitchen, This is our kitchen. It overlooks our sunken family room. I wish several things were different with our space but we live with what we have. I think I have made good use of the space. I don't like clutter and keep my counters free of it. I do like our counters and the back splash. I also love our kitchen table and leather chairs. I put glass over the wood the protect it. I have three little ones and it makes clean up much easier. I know it isn't very pretty to look at. I also have two boosters for my twins at the table. I have matching chairs that they will graduate to someday. Our curtains are a new addition and add some color and fun. They coordinate well with our drapery in the family room. Enjoy looking. Thanks!, Kitchens Design
Oh Baby! Lou Lou's Got Style!, What gets my heart pounding more than a room to organize and decorate? Just about nothing. So believe me, when my hubby and I found out we'd be parents to a fourth child, I was over-the-top excited about a new room to design. I adore kids' rooms almost as much as I adore the actual kids. Little Miss Louisa was reason enough to celebrate, but her room to decorate was the icing on the cake! I wanted to avoid the ordinary pinks and purples. I wanted a room that exuded girly-ness and class. I wanted a space that was fit for a baby but would grow with a child. What evolved became the perfect place for our Little Miss Louisa.

The attack of the previous yellow kitchen!, It started with a 3/4 wall all around the kitchen and the original 1962 yellow cracked counter top sink stove range and the most hideous black monster refrigerator. It had to be taken out to the pipes. I wanted retro and modern but not like that., Kitchens Design
