Master Bedroom, Our bedroom used to be a peach nightmare; but a storm in the summer of 2007 put two holes in the roof, bringing down the ceiling in our bedroom. We got a new ceiling and a new shade of paint on the walls -- Morning Fog, which gave me a great excuse to buy new bed linens, which led to changing the entire design scheme, of course! Now our room is a cool, earthy sanctuary with a touch of romance. The best part is that the linens and pillows were K-Mart and Big Lots, respectively! The paintings....use a French accent here...commissioned and completed by Moi! The sconces are Partylite. Under $200 redesign! Decorating with Black, This was the first room we painted. My husband painted this room. This color set the tone for the rest of my house. I used lots of black for the wall decor. It took me 3 bedspreads to finally get one i liked. , Bedrooms Design
going for the greek look , well after getting started on our new earth home in 1996 we finally got the living room and kitchen done i went with tile and different colored grout the gas line runs down the post we even tiled around the window since we live underground we lean toward tile instead of carpets, Kitchens Design
A Powerder Room - A Touch of the Outside Inside!, This room is small just under 4x5 and had hideous red walls an all consuming vanity with classic 80's shell sink. Gutted the whole thing giving it a sense of the outdoors. Copper pedestal sink and custom cabinets give me more storage then i had but a whole lot more floor/standing space. The walls are textured. and a bit greener than the pictures show. The floor is flagstone., Bathrooms Design
