Our turn of the Century Victorian is bright and fun just like our family of three boys and a dog are! We used color everywhere to accentuate the openness and beautiful architectural details of the family room/dining room space.

We cannot figure out what to do with this room! We have lived in the house almost two years and have done nothing to this room other than add furniture. It lacks color, style, and functional seating for our family of 5. We would love to use this room more but rarely spend time in it. Please please help us!

This is my new kitchen, and I love it, we tore out the wall between the kitchen and what was my bedroom now the dinning room and closed up a few doorways and opened a new one and POOF a new kitchen. I wish it was that easy tearning out plaster is HARD!!! work.

Our kitchen is small and outdated with the original cabinets from 1950! Our only dining area is in this eat in kitchen and our layout is not making the most of our space. The refrigerator sticks out into the eating area. We have not been able to find a counter top to fit since our cabinets were custom made, so we had to use laminate which does not look nor work right in this space. The cabinets themselves despite cleaning them never look nice, there are scrapes and chips in the wood. It definitely has potential, we just need a little help and guidance! With the existing layout, we can't find room for a dishwasher. So, you guessed it the dishwasher is me!! Also, with no pantry, little cabinet space( 5 cabinets & only 3 drawers and little counter space I am limited to kitchen gadgets. In fact no where to put a blender, so we do without one!! The back splash area is the original 1950 tiles. We have painted and painted them. Every time, I wash them paint comes off and they come loose and we need to glue them back!!!
