I'm Seeing Stars - 2010, *Fourth of July Celebration* I love to decorate my fireplace mantle for the seasons. This year for summer, I decided to go with an Americana Fourth of July theme. I purchased a new picture by Irvin Hoover, 2 large red stars for on the wall and the rest has been salvaged from my craft closet.

I love the vintage looking Uncle Sam waving his America flag, the Liberty sign, the jingle bell painted in patriotic colors and all the STARS!! I even have stars resting on my windows.

Thanks for visiting., Holidays Design

Friends & Family Ideal Kitchen, Everyone always ends up in the kitchen. Why not make room for them to be comfortable? This kitchen is in a "down-sized" home. No need for massive appliances. The hood over the 36" cooktop slides out when needed. Island seats 7. Cabinets are cherry stained nutmeg with a mocha glaze and black accents. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and the great room., Kitchens Design
Outdoor Nooks and Crannies, Our back deck is the most appealing place to sit and read watch golfers or listen to bugling elk in autumn months. It is wide and so I have purchased two round tables that I can push together for parties or store easily in the garage when the snow flies. On the front porch red geranium and petunias do well in the shade when potted and watered well. I like the look of old wicker tables painted red - looks great against any color!, Patios & Decks Design
Porch for the Fourth, This porch was decorated by my step-mother who has wonderful decorating taste! She placed special things out for the fourth but I can tell you it always looks great! , Porches Design
