Beachy Bath Retreat, Welcome to my beach retreat! I don't have a beach house, so I created the feel in my bathroom. A stroll on the beach collecting beach glass is my ultimate relaxation. So, my beach glass collection was the inspiration for my personal "spa". I used frosted glass mosaic as the accent for the walls. On the floor is a tumbled marble mosaic with the frosted glass squares randomly scattered through out- just like finding glass on the beach! The vanity is the piece de resistance. The base is actually a sofa table and the counter top is custom concrete. I was so lucky to find a local concrete artist who made my vision into a reality. He created a work of art by incorporating glass from my collection into the concrete. Take a look at the close ups, it's really breathtaking. I smile every time I look at it! The counter top really sets off the frosted glass vessel sink. All of the metal is satin nickel., Bathrooms Design
Glass Bathroom, The Glass Bathroom is designed using three types of 8mm glass tile: a WATERFALL inspired focal wall juxtaposed to 1x1 tile for floors and other walls. The "fluent" space is enhanced by an onyx countertop which when uplit adds a dramatic impact. The floating cabinet adds lightness to the space. The convex shape of the sculptural faucet balances the concave effect of the glass sconces., Other Spaces Design
