Logan's Nursery, We wanted a nursery that had an equal balance of baby and our personal style. We also wanted to keep the budget small and so did everything ourselves.

We wanted warm muted tones that were calming. The bamboo floor that my husband put down really pulls that all together. He also made the crown bed cornice and added crown molding.

The bedding, valances and draping was all sewn by my mom. She also hand painted the "A Boy Is" saying that I picked out for my son's room.

Additional details like the covered pinboard, painted biplane above the closet and painted "L" with bow above the crib were also DIY projects I did throughout the course of designing the nursery.

Please feel free to ask about anything in the room as to where we got it, I'd be happy to share!, Nurseries Design

Happy Organic Easter to You!, This year's Easter tablescape in our home will be all about organic colors, textures, fabrics and materials. I always lean toward the neutrals, earth tones and/or monochromatic color schemes, and wanted to keep it again in a neutral palette for my Easter tablescape. Do you know how hard it is to find "beige" eggs for your Easter decor?! lolol Happy Easter to all of you!, Holidays Design
