Bedroom Makeover For A Boy (11yo), This is the bedroom I transformed for my son. During our home search, he found one with similar colors and naturally wanted us to buy the home based off of the 'cool' room. The best way to surprise him was to make him his own. I hand painted those stripes (VERY bad idea for a first-timer). All items in the room were bought on clearance except the paint and painting supplies. A friend custom made the mirrored stainless steel skaters., Boys' Rooms Design
Orange entry with kids' art and flowers, Our new orange entryway. My husband did the trim and iron balustrades, and I arranged the flowers. The artwork is our kids' hand and footprints. , Other Spaces Design
Room for Fun, When our son turned 4, we decided he should have a cooler big-kid room. We used his existing furniture, some purchased lumber and a lot of imagination to create the room of our, I mean, his dreams complete with slide. The bed here is the Ikea Kura bed and the storage is also from Ikea (Trofast). The slide was handmade. Mountian Fun Kid's Bedroom, This room is currently a boys room, but can be a girls room as well. It has a natral color scheme with wood furnature. Christmas garland/tree decorations and glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. The closet door is painted with magnetic primer & chalk board paint. Animal posters and Thomas Kincade pictures on the wall., Boys' Rooms Design
Kid's bath, Bathrooms Design
Teen Bathroom, We took a cramped bathroom and tried to open it up while adding additional function for our three teenaged daughters. We took an oddly placed linen cabenet and changed it into a make-up area. We also hid an ipod docking station in the new cabinet and added speakers in the ceiling., Bathrooms Design
