Front yard progress, This is my very small front yard that is still in progress. I am doing it myself just for the fun of it. There's not much you can do with a small yard like mine without having it look like all the rest, so a little creativity is called for to make it unique. Once all the plantings are done and has time to mature, it will look much better. I figure about two years from now. The trees and 5 of the bushes flower and bring color to the yard every spring. , Yards Design
Our DIY Backyard Patio with Pergola and Fountain, Our new backyard patio with pergola and fountain. We needed a new space to grill and relax since the yard was lacking when the house was purchased. This is the result of our hard work. , Patios & Decks Design
Newly Divorced with New home, Im recently divorced after 28 yrs of marraige, and I just purchased my 1st new home, alone. It a fixer upper, and I love that, but I'm stuck! I cant decide what to do with the breezeway and the doors. I will have siding put around the garage and other areas of the house that's not brick, similar to the paint I splotched in the breezway, but I cant decide if I should leave the breezeway white, have shaker shingles in that area or have it the same color as around the garage. Im also torn about the front and side door. Should I buy a new, fancier door with or without a window? I was thinking window and have it frosted but my sister says no window. Also, the side door window on new door or not? Also, what would you do for landscaping in the front? I have to make a decision ASAP! They'r already putting the roof up. Next will be the rest. Thanks!, Home Exterior Design
Patio improvements, I own a mobile home on an acre of land. Since I have retired I now have the time to add onto and improve my home. I have overcome some very large obstacles. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis, which makes movement painful and many times difficult. However, I find the work soothing and theraputic. I still have some finishing touches and more work planned. I have added everything you see, the porch, the patio, the fence, the grill area, and the landscaping. , Patios & Decks Design
